Under Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana law, an individual is able to obtain a Medical Marijuana card only if he or she has a “serious medical condition” certified by a duly credentialed physician. Under Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana law, a “serious medical condition” includes the following medical diseases and conditions:
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
- Autism
- Cancer
- Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating
- Polyneuropathy
- Crohn’s Disease/Ulcerative Colitis
- Intractable Spasticity
- Epilepsy/SeizuresGlaucoma
- HIV/AIDS
- Huntington’s Disease
- Intractable Seizures
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (including Colitis and Crohn’s)
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Neuropathies
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Severe Chronic/Intractable Pain
- Sickle Cell Anemia
